Naafiah is an empathetic and compassionate psychologist. She believes in the power of communication, listening skills, being non-judgmental and creating a safe space for her clients. She is on her mission to offer healing, self-acceptance and emotional regulation to those who are seeking help. She uses evidence-based approaches such as CBT and Psychodynamic therapy for her clients. She is passionate about counselling and creates a safe environment for her clients to understand their thoughts and emotions better. She believes mental health is as important as physical health and people should seek help when they need it without feeling ashamed.
She holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Middlesex University. She has interned under a Clinical Psychologist where she wrote case histories, counselled under supervision and maintained all records and files of clients. She has worked as a helpline volunteer in a text-based organisation in the UK. She has handled cases of depression, anxiety, abuse, suicide, and bullying.
Her areas of interest are depression, anxiety and relationships. She helps her clients evolve into their best versions. Her core belief is that working on improving self-esteem, emotional stability, awareness and accountability can help a person evolve and handle the challenges of present-day life.
Naafiah enjoys travelling, music, watching movies and outdoor activities. She also engages herself in yoga and meditation to improve mindfulness.
