Khushi is a dedicated psychologist who believes that the complexity and fallibility of humans is what makes them beautiful. She is compassionate, accepting and empathetic. These qualities are extended in a therapy session so that clients have a safe space to express themselves freely. She holds the belief that being vulnerable and asking for help is a sign of human strength that empowers people to realize that they have the potential and capability to help themselves. Her opinion is that therapy can be beneficial in allowing people to explore and reflect upon themselves, enabling them to rediscover themselves. Therefore, her aim in therapy is to facilitate the session in a manner that helps clients become better versions of themselves and lead their lives in a healthy manner.
Khushi has acquired her Master’s Degree in Applied Psychology with specialization in Counselling. Additionally, she also holds a certificate in Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy. She resonates deeply with cognitive-behavioral approach and person-centered approach. However, she is not limited to using these techniques and uses an eclectic approach catered to clients’ needs.
In her spare time, Khushi likes to read books on different areas of psychology and gain more knowledge, read fiction and write poems. She also likes taking walks and on some days, doing absolutely nothing.
