Visruta is a highly empathetic and patient psychologist who is passionate about psychology and its many schools of thought. She firmly believes that therapy could benefit everyone and should be made accessible to all. She has a calming presence that puts the person in front of her at ease and helps form good therapeutic relationships. Her non-judgmental attitude allows her clients to open up, gain an understanding of their thought and behaviour patterns and eventually work towards the resolution of their goals.
She holds a postgraduate degree in Clinical Psychology from Shreemati Nathibai Damodar Thackersay University. Her interest lies in the young adult population dealing with anxiety, depression, and other mood disorders. She is also interested in psychological assessment and social and relational psychology. She uses an eclectic approach in therapy, tailored to the unique needs and motives of her clients. She believes in treating her clients with empathy and kindness and providing them with the resources to help them grow and understand themselves better.
In her spare time, she enjoys reading books and admiring the sky while sipping a cup of tea. She is a trained singer and an amateur ukulelist. She also enjoys going to the gym, watching movies/TV shows, and spending quality time with her friends and family. She hopes to break myths around therapy and the counseling process through her work.
