About Me

Guntasha values the importance of understanding individual differences through their behaviors. She believes in creating a space for clients through listening and silence as two foundations for developing a therapeutic relationship. As a counselor, she wishes to hold the therapeutic space for clients through empathy, unconditional positive regard, and reflection. Her faith in understanding the behaviors and emotions of an individual to develop a deeper understanding of themselves guides her approach in a session.

She has a Master of Science degree in Counselling Psychology from Bangor University. She has gained experience working with and creating psychoeducational resources for individuals from different socioeconomic backgrounds. She has worked with people dealing with issues like anxiety, depression, and grief and aims to be able to communicate that self-awareness of patterns of relating can help an individual move towards improved relationships and eventually a more fulfilling life.

She wishes to build a space to understand the role of emotions in dealing with stress by various adults. Thus, she believes in practicing as an integrative counselor who can create a safe and supportive client environment. This also helps her in holding her pillars of a person-centered approach along with delving deeper into human behavior, thoughts, and emotions.

Outside of the therapeutic setting, she enjoys listening to music and finds it calm to reflect and relax on stressful days. She also loves spending time gardening and believes it helps her cultivate patience. She is also passionate about food and takes delight in baking and cooking. She holds a passion for travel and wishes to view the world through different cultures.
