Janki (she/her) is a kind, compassionate, and attentive psychologist. Her approach to therapy is a mixture of empathy, practicality, and a deep understanding of the mind and body. She aims to create a safe and supportive environment where individuals can explore and overcome difficult life experiences. She believes a person is separate from the problem and helps people understand that the problem is just a part of their life, not who they are.
She has acquired her Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology from Mumbai. She uses an eclectic approach, integrating various therapeutic techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), rational emotive behavioral therapy (REBT), interpersonal therapy (IPT), client-centered therapy along with third-wave therapies like mindfulness-based interventions (MBIs), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and nervous system regulation into her practice, creating new insights about her client's feelings and behaviors.
Her therapeutic approach is rooted in deep empathy and a comprehensive understanding of her client's experiences. She makes a safe, non-judgmental space for her clients to express themselves. She is deeply honored to witness the courage and resilience of her clients during their therapeutic journeys. She believes in the transformative power of therapy and personal growth. Her goal is to create a nurturing environment where you can uncover your inner strengths, overcome challenges, and find fulfillment.
During her leisure time, Janki enjoys thinking about food, relaxing by her window bed, reading novels, and listening to retro music. Travel and spirituality are her avenues for self-exploration and personal growth. Janki invites you to join her on a journey of discovery and take the first step towards a more fulfilling life.
