She holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce, Savitribai Phule Pune University and her work is informed by both contemporary psychological research and a deep interest in human experience. Aachal drives her work from an eclectic approach, which dynamically blends Relational Emotive Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Narrative Therapy along with trauma-informed care, tailoring each session to the unique needs of the individual.
Her clinical interests include working with emotional regulation difficulties, trauma histories, early attachment wounds, and the psychological impact of caregiving roles. She is especially drawn to helping clients navigate transitions, identity challenges, and patterns rooted in past relational dynamics. For her, therapy is not about fixing what's broken, but about honoring what has survived and building a more conscious, compassionate relationship with the self. She believes in holding a space with the therapist walks beside the client as they heal and begin to trust themselves.
Clients often find her presence calming, observant, and non-intrusive. Rather than rushing to solutions, she encourages reflection and insight, believing that sustainable change comes from understanding rather than urgency.
Beyond the therapy room, Aachal enjoys spending time in solitude, engaging with art, books, and walking in quiet natural spaces. She has an innate love for cooking, which she loves to share with the world. Ultimately, everything she does beyond psychology brings her back to her keen motto of connecting better with self and the world. These practices enrich her clinical work by keeping her attuned to both emotional nuance and the broader context of human development.
Her work is rooted in the belief that healing is not a linear process, but a layered, unfolding journey toward greater authenticity, resilience, and emotional depth.
