Annyasha D. Langstieh is a passionate and empathetic psychologist, committed to making mental health accessible to all. Her work is grounded in the belief that mental health care should nurture the whole person, their emotions, identity, and unique life experiences. She views therapy as a space for self-discovery and empowerment, where individuals are supported in navigating their challenges and embracing their strengths. Annyasha believes that healing cannot be reduced to symptom management. She adopts a person centered approach to therapy to guide her sessions, aiming to understand the whole person, not just their difficulties. She maintains that every issue, irrespective of its perceived magnitude or complexity, warrants careful consideration and support. Her warmth, deep empathy, and active listening form the foundation of the therapeutic alliance, enabling clients to feel seen, heard, and supported.
Annyasha holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Jesus and Mary College and a Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Jain University. Her journey into the field began at a young age, influenced by her mother’s work as a teacher in a special needs school. Being exposed early to individuals who perceive the world differently ignited her desire to uplift others and better understand human behavior in all its richness and diversity.
Her professional experience spans working with neurodivergent individuals, including those with ADHD, autism, and learning disabilities, in both clinical and academic settings. She has provided care in hospital environments (inpatient and outpatient), further strengthening her ability to work with varied mental health concerns such as depression, anxiety, stress, and emotional regulation.
A creative at heart, Annyasha finds joy in painting and envisions incorporating art into her therapeutic practice. She believes that art can serve as a powerful, symbolic language, particularly for those who struggle to verbalize pain. Cooking also brings her joy, especially in its power to unite people, mirroring her values of connection and family. In her downtime, she enjoys watching nature documentaries narrated by David Attenborough, a gentle reminder of the awe-inspiring beauty and resilience of life.
In her professional and personal life, Annyasha hopes to create safe spaces where healing, growth, and self-discovery can thrive within individuals, families, and communities alike.
