Sanya Singh is a highly empathic, passionate and open-minded individual. She focuses in providing her clients with a non judgemental and safe space to freely talk about their issues. She strongly believes that all clients have the ability to understand and learn from their problems, and she wants to support them through that journey.


Sanya holds two postgraduate degrees; MSc in Psychological Therapies from Queen Mary University London and Masters in Counselling from Notre Dame University in Sydney. Sanya has comprehensive experience in therapeutic interventions, counselling and psychological assessment across diverse settings. She is skilled in supporting clients struggling from trauma, addiction and family challenges.

Additionally, she is adept at fostering client wellbeing and help design individualised care plans. Her main areas of expertise and preferred therapeutic approach is person-centred approach. She utilizes techniques from Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT). Sanya also uses techniques from Family Systemic Therapy and Strength-based approaches. She has past experience of working with domestic violence survivors and competed a certificate course in Eating Disorders also.

Inclusivity is a core part of current day therapeutic practice. The non-judgemental aspect of her sessions also extends to including and working with LGBTQ+ clients and providing them support as a queer-affirmative practitioner.

As part of her self-care, she enjoys trying different cuisines, watching movies and TV shows from different countries. She enjoys listening to music and tries to attend as many music concerts as she can. Sanya is committed to working towards her lifelong goal of making the world a place where everyone can access mental health services without any stigma attached.

    I had a wonderful experience with Sanya mam. She patiently listened to me and understood everything I tried to say to her and even more than that. She made me extremely comfortable with her that I could become vulnerable in front of her. The most remarkable part is that apart from the session, she regularly checks on me and provides me support.
