About Me

Nikita is a compassionate therapist who views healing as a shared journey. She is
committed to creating safe, supportive space rooted in person-centred care where
clients feel heard, understood, and are empowered. She understands that with
mental health, there is no ‘one size fits all’, which is reflected by her dedication to
understand unique social and cultural influences shaping each client’s experience.

She completed her MSc from King’s College London and has a strong foundation in
research, shaping her therapeutic approach and guiding her to value lived
experiences by implementing psychoeducation. She has a Graduate membership
from the British Psychological Society (BPS) and has been awarded the Level 4
Care Certificate, accredited by Health Education England, Skills for Care, and the
health sector.

Nikita doesn’t believe in reducing people to labels; instead, her work is driven by the
belief that every individual has a story worth listening to and strengths worth building
on. With a strong commitment to evidence-based modalities like Cognitive
Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Exposure and Response
Prevention for OCD, and Mindfulness, she believes in a collaborative and flexible
therapeutic approach. Nikita has experience working in community rehab settings
supporting individuals with complex mental health concerns, including psychosis,
learning disabilities, autism, trauma, women’s mental health, panic disorder, anxiety,
and depression.

Nikita draws inspiration from the ‘Infinite Hallway’ theory, viewing therapy as a
process of curiosity. She regards therapy as more than just observing what’s on the
surface. Beyond mental health ventures, you’ll find Nikita with a book in hand or an
e-reader, listening to music, or baking. She is a curious individual who brings
empathy and optimism into her sessions, supporting clients as they work towards
restoring lives that feel authentic and fulfilling.

I had a session with Nikita last week, and for the first time in a long while, I truly felt heard and understood as she provided me with a sympathetic ear. I chose her because her profile resonated with my experience of returning to India after many years abroad, and she proved to be the right fit. She listened with empathy, helped me see new perspectives, and offered practical suggestions for my routine and stress management. She was warm, supportive, and highly professional throughout. I look forward to my future sessions with her.
