About Me

Rashi is a keen and an enthusiastic psychologist who resonates deeply with her clients’ difficulties. Her skills and extensive experience in this field have made her adept at providing therapy. She is an understanding and a kind person who knows her professional boundaries, maintains ethical standards and is integral while dealing with individuals. She has adequate counselling skills, which include active listening, constructive responding, being empathetic and providing a secure and a bias-free environment, which aids in helping her clients to open up to her freely. She likes to gain hands-on experience while working with her clients and upskill her knowledge base so that she can be her best version while she progresses in her professional journey.

Rashi is a strong advocate of this field as her interest in psychology can be rooted in her own personal life experiences while completing her initial education. She holds a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in applied psychology from Amity University, Noida. She is particularly inclined towards dealing with clients who face mental health concerns like having anxiety issues, dealing with stress, childhood trauma, uneasy life transitions, existential crisis, interpersonal and behavioural difficulties and difficulties creating effective coping mechanisms. Rashi strongly believes that only when one is feeling their happiest and most confident can they continue to make the right choices in their lives. She likes to reflect this belief through her evidence-based practices that she follows through approaches like CBT, client centred therapy, solution focused therapy, and compassion focused therapy. Her therapeutic style is eclectic and holistic, which caters to the client's needs as she prioritises client comfort in every session.

Additionally, she also has a certificate of diploma in counselling psychology and a strong hold in research, as she has presented a paper on perinatal mental health in an international conference during her academic tenure. She has experience working with diverse populations and is culturally sensitive. Rashi believes that mental health services should be accessible to everyone, including the marginalised sections of the society and especially at a younger age when one is at their developing stage.

In her downtime, Rashi spends her time painting, listening to music, introspecting, and watching movies. She is inclined to travel and is also a budding classical Kathak dancer. She likes to stay socially aware of her surroundings and enjoys building connections.  Rashi swears by a rational ideology wherein if we are performing our parts well in life, many of our problems become naturally resolved.
