About Me

Ruchita brings warmth, curiosity, and active listening to her work, creating a safe space where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, relationships, and life experiences at their own pace. She recognises that seeking support can itself be a vulnerable step, and aims to make the therapeutic process feel comfortable and respectful. She believes that therapy begins with having a space where you can speak openly, feel heard, and be met without judgment.

Ruchita holds an advanced doctoral training in Psychology and has completed her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology. Her experience is working with adolescents and adults across diverse psychological and life concerns. She works with concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship and interpersonal difficulties, family concerns, self-esteem, life transitions, and emotional well-being. She specializes in family therapy and inter-personal counselling.

Her therapeutic style is primarily psychodynamic, with an emphasis on developing insight into the underlying patterns, emotions, relationships, and experiences that shape how individuals understand themselves and engage with others.

Ruchita particularly values offering an unbiased perspective while remaining sensitive to each client’s unique circumstances. Through active listening and thoughtful exploration, she works towards helping clients make sense of difficult experiences, recognise patterns that may no longer serve them, build on their existing strengths, and develop healthier ways of navigating themselves and their relationships.

Her approach recognises that our psychological experiences are shaped not only by our individual histories, but also by the families, communities, cultures, and social contexts in which we live.

Outside of her professional work, Ruchita enjoys yoga, reading thriller novels, and meeting new people.
