Rumana Siraj is a passionate and dedicated individual who is committed to the field of mental health. She has a strong foundation in psychological assessment and counselling techniques like CBT. She is passionate about promoting emotional well-being and committed to continuous learning and professional development in the field of mental health.

She demonstrates strong interpersonal skills, such as active listening and rapport-building with clients from diverse backgrounds. She believes that attending to both physical and mental health is essential for an individual’s overall well-being.

She intends to create awareness about mental health and overcome the stigma around it. She believes in making people feel heard and in creating a safe space for those who seek support.

Rumana completed her Master’s in Psychology from IIPR, Bangalore University. Her academic background is enriched by hands-on experience as an Assistant Psychologist Intern and volunteering under licensed psychologists in clinical settings, special schools and rehabilitation centres, where she strengthened her knowledge of cognitive and developmental issues across different age groups. She has attended workshops on mindfulness and behaviour therapy. She has experience working with children and adolescents navigating challenges like learning difficulties, anxiety and stress. 

Whether working with clients individually or in groups, her goal is to foster resilience, self-awareness, and emotional well-being. Fluent in English, Kannada, Hindi, and Urdu, she aims to offer inclusive care in therapy.

Alongside her passion for psychology, she has other interests such as art and dance. She enjoys music during her leisure time. She loves cooking and exploring new places. She thrives on exploring new perspectives, bringing this warmth and curiosity.
