Tamima Tanveera Rahman Baruah believes healing begins when individuals feel genuinely heard, understood, and supported. She strives to create a warm, safe, and non-judgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences at their own pace while building self-awareness and reconnecting with their inner strengths.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Psychology and a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology, with experience gained through academic training, supervised internships, and practical work with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Her approach integrates conversational techniques, creative interventions such as art therapy, and evidence-based practices, with a special interest in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). She values tailoring therapy to each client’s unique experiences, strengths, and personal context.
Outside of her professional work, Tamima enjoys painting, journaling, and music, finding creativity to be an important source of balance and connection. Her belief in the power of authentic human connection shapes the empathetic and supportive environment she brings into her therapeutic practice.
